In This Clip, Influencers Attributing Lyme Disease To 'Intergalactic Substance' Going Viral

A video featuring influencers blaming Lyme disease on an "intergalactic substance" has gone viral.

On the July 27 episode of The Balanced Blonde podcast, astrologer Danielle Paige explained her thoughts to the author and host Jordan Younger.

"I worked with a medical intuitive, and she said every time she sees someone with Lyme, it's an intergalactic substance bringing in codes from the beginning of time," Paige told Younger.

"Yes! This is something I believe "Younger concurred. "This sends shivers down my spine. I'm convinced. I've never heard it in those exact words before, but I frequently try to say the same thing."

"Lyme is a gift," Younger said, adding that she has the disease herself. "It's not for the faint of heart, and it's for the world's most deeply spiritual people."

Paige, a self-proclaimed consciousness guide, nodded and said, "Yes."

Paige had over 90,000 Instagram followers at the time of publication, while Younger had 228,000 and another 33,000 on TikTok.

Younger expanded on her message in the caption of her Instagram post, which included a podcast clip.

"When we arrive on this planet from somewhere else, our souls are frequently resonating and vibrating in a higher dimension than this dense earth. That can lead to a disconnect between our bodies and our souls, and I've found that's when health problems arise. So, whenever someone tells me they have Lyme disease, I want to tell them to "get ready for the ride of your life." "She used a rocket and an alien emoji in her writing.

She went on to say that while she doesn't "wish illness on anyone," she believes that "when we take our health into our own hands, we have the power to heal."

On August 1, Doctor Ryan Marino tweeted the video to his verified Twitter account, writing, "I had to hear this, so now you do, too." The video has been viewed over 735,000 times.

Marino, who specializes in emergency medicine, toxicology, and addiction, wrote in the comments, "Because it has to be said? Lyme disease is the result of an infection with the (earthly) *bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi. It is not a gift, and it is a major issue in the United States that may worsen as a result of climate change. It is treated with antibiotics rather than by a "medical intuitive." Pls."

Lyme disease is "the most common vector-borne disease in the United States," according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Infections transmitted by the bite of infected blood-feeding anthropods such as ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas are known as vector-borne diseases.

Fever, headache, fatigue, and a skin rash are common symptoms. If left untreated, the infection can spread to areas such as the heart, joints, and nervous system. Suicidal ideation has been reported in some cases by people suffering from the disease.

Many celebrities, including Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne, Crystal Hefner, Yolanda Hadid, and her children Bella and Anwar, have spoken out about contracting the illness over the years.

Yolanda Hadid, 58, described her own struggles with mental health after contracting Lyme disease in a Vogue interview published in February 2021.

"I can't even begin to describe the darkness, pain, and hell I lived through every day," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told the publication. "For a while, it didn't even feel like living. This disease had me on my knees. Many nights, I wished to die and hoped to be free of the pain. I don't think I'd be here today if it weren't for my children."
